As a business leader and manager with extensive
management and program oversight experience, Mr. Welsh has been responsible for developing markets and delivering value to
clients across the healthcare continuum including large pharmaceutical companies, healthcare providers, health plans, the
Department of Defense, US Food and Drug Administration, Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) and the Department
of Health and Human Services (HHS). His experience includes functional and business roles focused on delivering healthcare
process and technology strategies and services. Adam is an experienced consultant in the areas of patient safety, and health
information technology with a proven ability to work in new and emerging markets. He was most recently the general manager
for Apptis Health Solutions delivering health IT services to clients across the federal health continuum worldwide. He has
broad domain experience ranging from life sciences research in the biotechnology industry through corporate finance for a
medical devices corporation. Adam has worked delivering solutions for the Department of Health and Human Services, the Military
Health System, the Department of Veterans Affairs, health plans, biopharmaceutical companies and medical groups.
